Cookie Settings at a Glance
Cookie pages are usually long because sites use a lot of cookies. This one is short because Textic Talk barely uses any storage at all. Here is the whole picture.
What we do not use
Textic Talk does not set cookies for analytics, visitor statistics, advertising, retargeting or social media. No third-party scripts load trackers while you read, and no profile of you is built on this site or shared with anyone.
The one thing we store
When you answer the cookie bar at the bottom of the screen, your browser saves your answer in its local storage, a small storage area that belongs to your own browser. The entry only records whether you accepted or declined. Its job is to stop the bar from appearing again on every page you open.
| Stored entry | Location | Contents | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cookie answer | Your browser's local storage | Accepted or declined | Until you clear it |
The entry is never sent to us or to anyone else. It is technically necessary for the notice to work, and declining does not change anything else about the site: every article, page and feature works the same either way.
How to remove it
You can delete the stored answer whenever you like. The steps differ slightly between browsers, but the idea is always the same:
- Open your browser's settings and find the privacy or site-data section.
- Search for textictalk.com in the list of stored site data.
- Remove the data for the site, or clear all site data if you prefer.
The next time you visit, the cookie bar will appear once more and you can answer again.
Server logs
Separately from cookies, the hosting provider that delivers our pages keeps brief technical logs of requests for security. These are not cookies and are explained in Privacy on Textic Talk.
Questions
Unclear about any of this? The contact page reaches all three of us. We would rather explain it plainly than leave anyone guessing. Last updated October 2026.
