Get in Touch With the Crew
Textic Talk is a small operation, so there is no ticket system, call centre or chat bot. There is one inbox, and the three of us read it. The easiest way to reach us is by email:
Good reasons to email the crew
- Corrections. If a feature description, a date in our arcade history pieces or a bonus explanation looks wrong, tell us which page and what you noticed. Corrections go to the front of the queue.
- Questions about a game mechanic. Holds, nudges, cascades, multipliers or loyalty levels: if a help screen left you puzzled, we may turn the answer into an article.
- Topic ideas. Old cabinets you remember, a regional slot tradition, a habit that keeps your sessions calm. We keep a list.
- Privacy requests. Access, correction or deletion of data you sent us; see Privacy on Textic Talk.
- Partner and cooperation enquiries. Any cooperation follows the same standards as the rest of the site, set out in Rating Standards.
What we cannot help with
We are writers, not an operator. We cannot look up accounts, process withdrawals, settle disputes with a casino or tell you which site to join. For account problems, contact the operator directly, and if that does not work, the regulator that licensed it.
Personal financial or legal advice is outside what we can offer as well. If gambling is causing you worry, our Play It Light page explains the warning signs and how to find support where you live. Please reach out to a local service rather than waiting for an email reply from us.
How quickly we answer
We try to reply within a few working days. Corrections are checked against the source before the page is updated, which can take a little longer when we need to read through game rules or terms.
A few tips for a useful message
- Include the address of the page you are writing about.
- Quote the sentence that bothers you, if there is one.
- Leave out passwords, card numbers and account details; we never need them.
Messages are welcome from adults aged 18 and over. Thank you for helping keep the halls tidy.
Quick answers first
Questions readers often ask the crew
Short answers to the messages that land in our inbox most often.
Can you recommend a casino or app?
We describe games and habits but do not tell anyone where to play. If you choose to, make sure the operator is licensed where you live and read its terms first.
Is there a best time of day to spin?
No. Results are drawn at random for every spin, so the clock, the day of the week and recent results make no difference.
Why do your articles avoid return percentages?
Many games run in several versions with different settings. The figure that applies to you is in the info screen of the version you see.
Can I suggest a piece of arcade history?
Please do. Old cabinets, regional machines and forgotten features are some of our favourite subjects.
